Stuart Jones is president of Berwick Heights Software. With over twenty years of software development experience, Stuart offers in-depth expertise in service oriented architecture (SOA), web services (REST, SOAP, WS-*), web-enabled applications, object oriented design, message queuing, streaming media and database design. Dr. Jones also provides consulting services in the areas of business requirements gathering, product design and offers training in Microsoft .Net technologies. Before starting his consulting career, Dr. Jones worked on distributed systems applications for Apollo Computer and was a key member in building Boston Technology into the world's leading provider of voicemail systems. He received his M.S. in Computer Science from SUNY-Stony Brook and is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Also a recognized composer of modern chamber music, which often employs computer-generated sounds, Dr. Jones earned his PhD in Music Composition from Columbia University. His music is performed in concert halls and music festivals throughout the United States and Europe.

.Net opportunities based in Malaysia.
This is an excellent situation for adventurous individuals who want to get off- shore experience and live abroad for a year or more. Compensation includes base, 5k relocation, and 1k per month living expenses. The cost of living in Malaysia is significantly less the US and will allow you to bank your funds. You could also be subject to US X patriot laws, which will also allow for minimal taxes. Our client is a global outsourcer and provides development solutions for Companies like Panavison and Harley Davidson. They have offices based in Ireland, Philippines, Vietnam, Los Angeles and Malaysia. We are searching for: 1. Mid level Dot Net developer 2. .Net Product Development team lead REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or similar experience. 3-10 Years experience doing web development with Visual Studio, .NET, C# and ASP.NET. One or more in a development team lead or developer role. Also, CSS, XML and XSLT preferred. Understanding of the security pitfalls of the web development and how to avoid them. Strong programming knowledge, fluency in C# and solid understanding of OOP concepts. Good working knowledge of one or more databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) including SQL queries, stored procedures and views. Great written and personal communication skills (English). A passion for coding a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn. NICE TO HAVE: Experience with .NET 3.5 technologies such as WCF, WPF and LINQ, Experience designing user interfaces targeting the web, Design of efficient RESTful APIs. Experience writing web services and/or windows services. Exposure to design patterns, unit testing and agile development methods.
